Returning to a wild + cultivated plant-and- medicine lifeway allows us to re-inhabit the land and expand our relationship with the larger family of life. We consider you a part of that family, and extend our relationship with our collective home to you.

We are proud to offer the many wild and cultivated gifts that come from our 1300-acre farm, sanctuary, and wildlife refuge. Every plant is home-grown. Every purchase you make helps support a kinship approach to land care and the wellbeing of animals and humans. Each product carries the energy and extreme respect for the beings with whom we share this earth. We take what we need ourselves, and make a little extra to share with you. We encourage trade. We’ve been making our own rice, barley, corn, and legume koji for several years, and now offer the power of this culinary miracle in some of our tinctures. Koji-inoculated rice breaks apart carbohydrates into more digestible sugars, and potentially better-absorbed phytonutrients. Most notably, koji softens and sweetens the flavor of the tinctures, much like mirrin (a sweet rice wine) which is made with vodka (or a rice spirit), rice koji, and cooked rice.

A blend of our special chaga (inonotus obliquus), reishi (ganoderma tsugae), turkey tail (trametes versicolor) and lion’s mane relative (hericium coralloides) tinctures.

All mushrooms are ethically-harvested from our own pristine forest in the mountains of Vermont. With this combination, you can be sure not to miss the daily protective benefits of this powerhouse combination in one easy-to-take dropperfull.

“Liquid Forest” is a perfect way to experience the immune-enhancing benefits of these powerful, double-extracted medicinal mushrooms. Double-extracted tinctures combine an ethanol (alcohol) extraction with a water extraction (in the form of a strong tea) as some beneficial components are water soluble, and some are alcohol-soluble. Thus, you receive the full-spectrum of benefits these mushrooms offer.

Reishi: Adaptogen, Immune support, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, liver support, heart support, digestive support, fights fatigue.

Chaga: Antioxidant, adaptogen, immune support, B vitamins, fights fatigue. Our special chaga tincture favors the dark exterior “crust” (where the alcohol-soluble betulinic acid is purported to be found in higher concentrations) for the alcohol extraction, and the inner part of the chaga for the concentrated water extraction.

Turkey Tail: Anti-tumor, broad spectrum Immune support, chronic illness support, contains valuable polysaccharide-K (PSK) which inhibits growth of cancer cells.

Lion’s Mane (wild comb tooth, “hericium coralloides”): Immune support, brain and nervous system support.

Blend contains one part chaga, one part reishi, one part turkey tail, and one-half part Lion’s Mane.
